im gonna go ahead and buy a fat ski this year but im still not set on which i should buy. I don't want the prophets as sick as they are, simply because i want somehthing a little more versatile. i've had the pocket rockets in mind but everybody and their mom has that ski so i need some input here.

every ski company out there makes a fat ski. go look at them all and find out which one your little heart desires then buy them...you really don't need to make a post about this. think with your own head and make your own decisions, not what everyone else tells you to do.

 
the only 2 i would buy is k2 seth vicious, or the armada arv, both have sick graphics this year...

dude theres a lot of options you should research what you think is right how wide are you willing to go? Do you want softer or stiffer flex? if you're going to use them in the park, trees, open areas, your main ski, ect. theres the scratch bc, prophet 100, arv, big troubles, seth vicious, karma (only 85 but amazing), mojo's, stomp, moship flite lots of choices

to me the new scratch bc looks incredible the 04/05 scratch bc were really sick skis aswell. we can't really help you with this that much accept throw out suggestions

if you want a fatty to own all other fattys, get the faty-pus alottas, fattest ski around at 140 underfoot. no joke. but id go for maidens, mine rock

^if he wants a true fatty, thats where its at dude. if he wants something like a vicious, thats almost like a midfat now. and i reccomend them because unlike most, i ACTUALLY have a pair, and they are sick as fuck

if your not set on a twin, get some rossi bandit b3's or b4's. also volkl g4's are awesome all around skis. as for all around twin id say seths, msps, scratch bc's, or volkl karmas

^The sports den in SLC has several pairs of last year's Gotama's for $450, pretty much in every size. Great deal. Plus the dude there told me that I could leave with a pair of Prophets for like 26% off their sale price, which would be $623.00 after tax.

I have to disagree with that statement, at least about the Seth Pistols. I live in VT and ride my Pistols almost all the time. The carve nice, pretty quick edge to edge, and when we do get powder, it's a f'ing dream!
