yeah... and I still need to get new boots and mount my skis.... have abasin or loveland set an opening date yet?

they don't set opening dates for the mountains. They just get an 18 inch base completely on one run. They expect their opening on a weekly basis but they dont always know the exact date. i remember a basin opened when i didn't expect or here anything about it last year. I knew they were going to open that week though

Word is that Loveland is trying to beat the Basin this year. I'm guessing Oct. 10 if they are really lucky with weather, but more likely the 17th.
