I miss the old Pollard and Pep

Peps seg in 1242 is so dope, but its Pollards and Peps new stuff that got me into "free skiing". Aside from Shangai Six, Idea was my first ski movie and honest to god I have listened to that sound track, watched that movie and the bonuses hundreds of times. You cant tell me that Nimbus En Route to Japan wasn't some of the sickest pow skiing you've seen this year. If you miss the old pep and pollard then pull your head out of the park, and into the pow./ get real with it.,

 
Last nimbus edit was the best shit Ive ever seen.

Andy used ehm... "poles" again which made me even happier.

Thats absolutly where I want to see skiing going and progressing.
 
Man i was stoked to see this thread. I dont think these guys get enough credit in my eyes. and not really pep, i mean hes an amazing skier, but Pollard and Mahre. Both those guys are prob the biggest influences Ive had in skiing and I dont really miss the old Pollard, cuz if you watched what Nimbus is doing youd realize how fucking good pep, pollard, and mahre really are.
 
word andy reeeeaaally well put but i do love smooth park too. I hope pep and mahre go back to no poles i loved seeing pow skiing like that. I preferbly love no poles in pow but in park different story but thats not really what this discussion is about but yeah i love what these guys are doing for the sport no hate here.
 
pep was the guy who really showed me wat skiing could be like and he was my hero for a while but i dont really even follow him any more. he is just kinda drifting it seems... and i havent been watching as many big name movies as i used to so that probablly doesnt help but still
 
Pep's Skeeze segment in Top Rated is pretty damn banger. I think maybe people get the impression that they don't shred as hard anymore just because they put out a lot more content than they used to. It's unrealistic to expect them to be able to put out a full movie's worth of big stuff, but Pep's Skeeze edit shows that he's definitely got at least 3 minutes worth.
 
I am the biggest Nimbus fan! Lay off! But seriously, you took the words right out of my mouth. Well put man.
 
Pollard and Pep, and the entire nimbus crew, are in my eyes the most influential skiers out there today. Their style is soo amazing and so smooth constantly. If i could live any lifestyle, i would without a doubt want theirs.
