freakin scary as hell there was a shooting today at the folklife fest (hippys and such) the same time i was

getting on the metro bus. i had some friends that were like

right behind the shooter, scary to think that if i was about 10 minutes

later i would of been in the middle of that. scary stuff. read here

Wow, i live 40 minutes from there, man that is so scary, to think that it was in seattle, luckily you didnt get hurt and that my family didnt go.
 
thats scary stuff. I was in new york once and was going to the mall to see a movie and i guess like 5 minutes into where i had been standing in line there was shoot out at the jewelry store.

shut up the article doesn't even say if he was carrying legally or not. If he had the gun on him illegally concealed weapons laws are moot.
 
on my 11th or 12th birthday i went to canadas wonderland. about 10 minutes after i left the gate there was a shooting right at the enterence. weird.
 
That would make a big difference, now instead of the crazy guy shooting and a small chance of someone killing him before he kills 10 people, now its just the crazy guy, its not like people who are going out and shooting people like this care if that is illegal or not. How could you possibly think that would help anyone at all?
 
it said that the weapon was being legaly held. so the man wouldnt have had the weapon on him at the festival?
 
I thought he just went off and started killing people, anyway under this circumstance, the shooting was an accident because there was a fight over the gun. Sooooo......? I'm just saying that besides the random deusch bag guy, who shouldn't have been passed to have a gun in the first place, innocent people suffer more from not having concealed weapons, it just takes guns away from law abiding citizens not criminals, or this fucking idiot who attempted to pistol whip someone at a hippy fest. Seriously what the fuck is going on here, what kind of hippy has a gun?

Why should they be outlawed? The low percentage of dumbasses who use them wrong should ruin for the people that are carrying them for the exact opposite reason? My dad has his so we don't get freakin mugged or some shit. You can't fix stupid.
 
You have a better chance of getting mugged, and that gun being turned on you to kill you. Unless your dad is like a professionally trained police officer, then of course that does not apply.
 
dude i was there all day from like 2-4 then like 7-9 just gone in that gap when the shooting happened when i came back i was like wtf happened kuz there were horse police and everything

on another note folklife is so tight how people just sit down and start hittting pipes and no1 cares. haha
 
So funny how all you peeps are trying to bash the kid who said this is a good example of why they should be illegal. Whether you think a concealed hand gun should be legal or not this is a GREAT example of why they shouldn’t be legal. The guy wouldn’t have had the gun there... there wouldn’t have been a dumb argument over it... then it wouldn’t have gone off and hit someone. Pretty simple I think.
 
i went there an hour after it happened because we had time to kill after dinner before prom so we walked around folklife in our yuxes and such. there were cops everywhere.
