I might be able to nab some cheap skis

A shop near me is getting rid of their old (only a year old) skis, and they plan on selling them off cheap to some other shop or something. I talked to the guy at the shop, and he said he would be willing to sell me a pair directly. They have a pair of the black and red Line Mr pollards opus, and they seem to be in pretty good condition. Do you guys think its a risky buy? It would be sick to get a nice pair of planks pretty cheap. I'm not sure how much they want for them, how much do you think they would be?

+k for good answers (if thats even a thing anymore)

Why would it be risky if you we're buying from a shop? If they're new, I can't understand the risk. If they're used (which probably would have been a good thing to include in the post) it all depends on condition and price. Can't tell you if it's alright or not without a picture and a price.

if i could get mr pollards opus super cheap, i wouldn't think twice. and like said, it's not very risky since your buying directly from a shop.

go for it dude.

Thanks for all the replies so far, they are used and probably a season or two old. I think I'll go for it. I'll check em out a bit closer tomorrow.
