But this is not that cool.

So last night I leave home with my family for a dinner party, at this point it's snowing a bit, but as we head down the hill it starts to rain, it's all good. As the dinner party drags on it gets colder and colder and begins to snow and the wind starts blowing hard. When we go to leave, we walk in to an absolute whiteout, which we assumed was only a fraction of the magnitude of the storm at my house(about 400 feet higher in elevation) this was correct. Because this storm happened so early the leaves were still on the trees, causing a shitload of them to come down, and one of those fell on my car, sick.

There goes my ride to skiing.

is the glass broken or significant damage to the engine? If it's just cosmetic, you can drive an ugly looking truck for a while.

Also, bump for a fellow Xterra driver!

well you shouldnt be such a downer about it bc if you comprehensive insurance you are going to get it fixed or replaced. You can go get a better xterra or one with lower miles. if they fix it now ur headlights wont have a foggy look to em and you will have no stone chips on ur hood. This is a positive thing!!! be happy its just metal glass and plastic they are replacable
