Yep,
I made my first snow of this season this morning. I ran the gun with my new water pump I built. I hadn't planned on using my new water pump this morning because the oil in it is about 6 months old.
The pump worked great. I was running two 4003 nozzles and a 4004 nozzle at 600 psi. That gave me a total out put of 3.872 GPM. I found out that I have to find another way to point the gun because with the new pump it just shoots the snow so much farther. I had my gun sitting right behind the side walk and it was shooting the snow from there all the way across the road to my neighbors front yard. Oops! With my old pressure washer it never shot the snow that far. It never even made it to the road. Hahaha!
Well, I ran the 2 4003 nozzles and the 4004 nozzle for about 10 minutes and I noticed that the snow was really slushy and icy. So, I turn the water off to the top 4004 nozzle and went to my pump to adjust the water out put down so that is was only putting out 2.1 GPM . That was alittle better but the snow was still very wet because the temp was only 30 degrees. I ended up running on far about 45 minutes and ended up with like only 1 inch of very wet and icy snow.
