Im late for work so i cant write a detailed expl;aination now but this is a ski that i made. there are no edges underfoot. 183 cm legnth. graphics will be hand drawn by dweezileast. i will take good pictures later. please excuse the ghetto air filter rag on my face but fiberglass dust is nasty shit.

thats pretty sick man, i would love to see shots of the ski all around, bottoms tops, nose, tails, edges

if you really want to see them:http://www.zippyvideos.com/3841636563348046/togbigcatair/

the skier in the bright yellow jacket is cal. he is wearing previously made skis.

naw dweez these are skinny mofos. 110-85-110. they are perfectly symmetrical including the core profile. i used 1 layer of 22 oz triaxial fiberglass above the core and 2 below. the core is maple and the sidewalls are ptex. although i have not flexed the ski much since the epoxy needs time to cure fully, it seems about the right stiffness for jibbing. here is a picture comparing the ski to 169 fujatives:

can u show some more pics? bases etc? that's dope man that you're doing skis come on do your own freeski small but small but always company :D

thats sick!! how did you ress it all togheter? did you make a mold? or vaccum presss?? i was amkgin my own skis but i wnated to sue a hot press with heat activated epoxy, however prior and catpitol skis are dicks and won't let me use thiers.

i used west system epoxy. its not heat activated so it needs 10-12 hours in the press. here is my press:

the reason its so huge is because my dad wants to make a snowboard. you could get by with a much smaller press.

upon further review and comparing the skis with others it appears that this ski is stiffer than 160 cm armada ar5's, 170 ar5's, and since the fujative has a wierd flex pattern my ski is stiffer in the nose and softer in the tail. im not really sure how much a normal ski weighs but this one is just a hair less than 4 lbs.

aight so i took the bindings off of my 160 armadas and weighed them and they were about 3.25 lbs. i think if they were 183's they woulb probably be about the same weight as the skis i made.
