I made a website with lots of rad videos

I like to watch ski videos, but I also like watching skate videos, and snowboarding videos, and other shit too. So I made a website that aggregates a bunch of different actions sports video sources and displays them in one place.

gnarhub.com

Currently supports:

- NS (of course)

- SLVSH

- Berrics

- Transworld Skateboarding

- Youtube Users

- Instagram users (videos only)

Sports:

- Skiing

- Skateboarding

- Snowboarding

- Surfing

- BASE Jumping

This is just the beginning and I'm adding new sources and sports all the time. If you have other sources or sports or Youtube users you think would be good to add, just post them here and I should be able to add them promptly.

Loving the website, however, i feel like there should be a way to rate people videos otherwise i don't know if I'm clicking on a shitty gaper trying to duck under and sign, or timmy wallnuts going ham in mammoth, also not loving the different sports categories, i feel like they should be more separated, maybe consider changing the colour of the banner at the top also as it's a bit of a whiteout right now, ya feel me.

Other than that it's an awesome concept and looks very professional,

Had this idea like 4 years ago and never did anything with it. Props to yea man glad you made something like this.

saw this thread this morning and ended up spending the whole day on the damn thing. sick idea tho i love it man.
 
did you seriously download and re upload all the footage from newschoolers to your source? or are you embedding footage?

i hope you're embedding footage. if not, thats stealing
 
you really should enable the ads from NS videos. if you have them on youtube then you should def have the NS ads. You are stealing potential money from the website, and the people making videos.
 
Damn this is sick. The title made it seem like it was gonna be some crappy joke. Quite the contrary, the site looks professional, It looks better than some big companies' sites. Nice name as well, gnarhub, lmao.

Yeah dude - we really need to talk. What you're doing here is awesome, and I for sure what to support this site.... but the way you're doing it is a little sketchy.

Not to say its impossible, and we fully support people aggregating video... you just gotta make sure you're not stealing. That is really, really, really illegal and the wrong person won't talk to you first - they'll just come at you guns blazing with lawyers. I'm not that person, so I can help.
 
Hey all!! Thanks for the kind words and support about how the site. I did make the site and it's automatically aggregating videos from these different sources into the gnarhub database.

About displaying ads -

You guys are right. I thought it would be useful to have a 'competitive advantage' and that people might like the site more if there weren't ads, but ultimately its not fair to awesome sites like NS who rightfully earn money from video ads. Today I'll work on using embedded videos instead of the raw video files, and it should be up on the site by the end of the day. I'll also chat with Mr Bishop today to do whatever is necessary to be on the same page.
