I love warranties!

The inevitable has happened, one of my bindings has pulled right out of my 08 Volkl Walls, mid 270 on. I knew it was coming but I'll be damned if it didn't break my heart.

When I picked my ski up after this the rear binding was hanging on by a single screw.

Worst part was, I'm not the original buyer so the warranty SHOULD be void. But you gotta give Volkl their props, they're sending me an 09 pair of Walls anyways. I am STOKED. Life is good

That exact thing happened to me near the end of the season last year, but i was out of luck on the warranty so i had to get the stripped holes filled and get my bindings remounted at dead center.

Ya I've been hearing horror stories about the Walls for months and I knew mine were bound to die. I love the ski though and I'm impressed that Volkl is taking care of their mistake so well.

I had that but with a bike.

It was a $3000 bike (2008 model) I bought from a store.

Busted it real good, and they sent me a whole new 2009 one.

kind a off topic is line pretty good with their warranties? ive heard good things about them but this year i have a new pair of 08 invaders and 09 bacons so if i break them at all would line hook me up or would it be kind a hard to get a replacement from them

If you buy your stuff from an authorized online dealer: evogear, backcountry, al's ski barn, etc then the warranty is still good. If you buy it used from another person, it should be void
