I Love PBP

Yeah I really liked War. Sammy, Benchetler, and Pep had fucking amazing parts. I couldn't stand any of the rock music segments though.
 
ski porn had really sick skiing, but the music was not very good i think the used 3 wolfmother songs in it. the only time wolfmother was cool was when it was in Andy'd part in War, then it got old after MSP and PBP overused their songs in 06.

War is just so much better than ski p in my opinion, every segment was sick
 
Your tech talk avoids the point man. I like your movies but I also like T hall, off skis he is fuckn annoying, and so is your self rightous tone you film snob. I don't have to make films to know what I like, in fact the consumers opinion, not the filmakers, makes the $$$. My opinion is it's time for a change and filming is headed in that direction. True, they still shoot in super 16 (i.e.mack dawg picture this)

but they use an HD transfer, and any kid that buys that shit regardless of their tv or dvd player is going to notice the crystal clear depth and clarity. My opinion is the reality of newschool riding along with good editing and music portrayed in an HD transfer dominates the look of 16 mm. You can disagree, but it doesn't change the fact that everyone is going to start using it and people love it.
 
I wasnt denying that kids dont like the digital HDV, in fact its undeniable that every kid wants to suck Berman's cock.

And that Mack Dawg teaser wasnt shot on super 16, it was shot on the Panisonic HVX. Plus, HDV transfer or not, the end result is HDV footage down-converted to SD formats. What Im saying is that Level 1 tells you all this shit about it being hi-def when its not, its just slightly sharper SD at the most.

real HD looks GOOD, like the Mack Dawg teaser, not like Shanghai 6 or something.

 
I seriously don't know anything about HD, but i do know that Mack Dawg trailer looks like something crazy, and that's just streaming on the computer.

Back to PBP, though, War was great, except for pep's song, couldn't listen to it.

Ski porn was good, but i never watch Julien's part, because the music is horrible. That is definitely not rock, and it sucks, so rock isn't the only music that sounds bad in a ski movie. Sometimes it sounds good, sometimes it doesn't.

Music adds sooo much to the feel, though.
 
SOrry, bud, I guess we look fr different things. Ski movies arn't supposed to bore the shit out you, they're supposed to get you stoked. Push didn't have that at all. On the other hand Pull was better, but still. No bueno.
 
i thought it was okay. it was a little shorter than i was hoping and it just didn't seem like the best dvd out there. i did like the hat and poster that cam with it.

This just goes to show that you are a immature, ignorent retard.  Stop talking out of you ass. Yes HD looks really good, but so does 8 or 16 mm converted to digital.
