Alright, I already posted that I was arrested for longboarding. The cops confiscated my board until August and it is true that when you cant do something its all you think about. So... check out this dudes "sick" pants at about 35 seconds, and post another video to keep minds out of metaphorical hell.

What did you get busted for? I see 3 or 4 cop cars a night when I'm out and (*knock on wood*) I haven't been stopped once.

Last week I was booting down the wrong side of the road even though there were cars coming and a cop passed me going the right way and didnt even stop.

They seem to have some love for us here...woo!

Thats not a video, so I'll help you out since this is a pretty sick crash.

The official ticket was for riding or attemting to ride a skateboard or similar device on a public roadway. Local ordinance passed on April 20th of this year and it sucks since the way they define skateboarding isnt really even that close to downhill longboarding. The cop was having a horrible night or something because he ended up screaming excesivly(even after I gave him my information) to the point where I got pissed off and he had to throw me to the ground for his "own safety." The kicker was the cop was "off duty" so I got the pleasure of being handcuffed, detained, transfered, and jailed in the drunk tank. # of cars on the road (1), time (8:30 pm), conditions (dry). There is your mouthful, thanks for the entertainment, only 20 minutes untill my shift is over, w00t.

i can understand why a cop busts someone for jibbing rails with a skateboard but longboarding is no harm to the public at all, its like riding a bike

On Sat Night I was towing Andy Longley on the longboard, I managed to run over his foot! He was fine but my board sustained a death crack!

Apperently its a $60 ticket here to ride skateboards on the sidewalks so we have no choice but to use the road

It really comes down to circumstance since the board does not have brakes. In this case the cop was in an unmarked civilian car. At the time when I "checked my six" I was carving slow enough to step off the board, however he didnt have his light bar on at that time so I assumed he just wanted to pass and signaled that I was gonna bomb the hill. I tucked and soon enough I had to much speed to stop, he hit his lights, and I was fuct from the get go persay.
