I love College

Taking an Environmental Technician program, hopefully it goes well and I actually enjoy it/can get a well paying get a job that I enjoy b/c of it. I had a pretty tough time choosing what to take in college.
 
about the whole "people only like to party" thing, its true at a lot of colleges but there definitely are some that dont. For example the U of Utah, its hard to find kids that dont hike, ski, fish, longboard, climb, etc etc etc.. while they may still party on the weekends, theres a lot more than just that going on.
 
yeah there are some pretty cool colleges out there, its the party colleges that suck. seems like the smaller, less known about colleges, trade schools, even community colleges. are where its at for cool people. when you see the college scene at a school like CU, for example, its pretty apparent that the majority of people who go there are the type of people who dont think for themselves and go with the crowd. get good grades to get into a good college because its what you're supposed to do, get to college and party every night because its what everyone else is doing and its the easiest way to have "fun" if you can call it that. i think of it as an easy way out of putting effort into finding real happiness/fun.
 
it goes by quick. pass your classes, get the credits you need to, and get your nut with easy girls while you still can. the window is quickly closing.
 
yea right dude. this is not true at all. I had to work my ass off last semester just to maintain a 3.0. If you go to a shitty state school then yea.

Some majors like criminal justice are a joke. But when you're taking tax, cost accounting, and advanced accounting its a lot different.
 
I was damn relieved to find out that you don't have to be good at math in accounting at all! I suck at math, but am good with numbers (good number memory) so accounting classes were a fucking breeze to me. Lucky.
 
All you need is logic and good eyes in the end. Debit side, credit side. Doesn't add up. Why? Find out. Done.
 
I took one of these, definetly didnt go into the field i thought id be in though.

College is really fun for awhile I found, Then I just got so over it and wanted to finish and live my life.
 
there are people of every type at college, if you can't find people who want to do various shit that's your own damn fault, unless youre at a tiny ass school, in which case... that's your own damn fault

also im laughing my ass off at the idea about people who actually go because they have a passion are the people who get Cs hahaha
 
todays my second day and this place is the shit i'm so greatful to have four years of it despite the masive amounts of work i'm going to have to do
