I live in Mordor (aka Wenatchee WA)

Hey NS, starting about 2:00 pm today my town started to turn into Mordor, there is a massive wildfire blazing homes of the people I know, I am worried that many of my friends may not have a house to come back to. Also while the wildfire burned the Sav-Mart in the middle of town caught fire. I am pretty tired right now so I cannot give the full deets. Pretty much just asking for your blessing NS.

Damn that sucks. It's good that they're trying to maintain the forests more these days but we're all built up in the middle of them.

Hopefully they can get it out, and it won't take out too many houses. Def gnarly to have right in your backyard.

Yeah its pretty scary, luckily where I live, the fire would have to cross a river and a highway to reach my house, so I am hopefully safe. The majority of my friends however are not so safe, many have been evacuated, and do not know if they still have a home. Its sad to see the houses burn like matches.

In 2013, I also lived in Mordor. Fire was on Mt. Diablo (fitting) and was almost 4,000 acres. Luckily, I was not in direct danger of the fire but knew plenty of people that were. Stay safe!
