i saw yearbook and thought it was alright, got kinda bored watching so much base jumping. it was cool at first but there was to much of it. Now im gonna buy one movie and am leaning towards X just because of what people here have said

I'm going to lay it out for all of you:

Yearbook is a shitty movie. It's not worth buying. Certain segments are good, but unfortunately, the movie in its entirety blows. it drags, doesn't flow smoothly at all, and half the music is stolen from previous videos. Basically, MSP ripped themselves off yet again.

If your movie budget is limited, you're better off with something by PBP, Level 1, Theory-3, or even TGR if you want a lot of big mtn lines. MSP? Don't bother.

The boys at MSP have been making too many biking films of late. The film had the quality of a Warren Miller movie, polished, but not enough chances taken in editing to create a truely classic movie. A big let down from the MSP. I really do doubt that I'll ever fork over 50 bucks for another one of their movies.

Simon (Jib_This) is a bitter, hypocrytical Frenchie. You should not listen to him. He hates everything. Why, just the other day in a fit of rage he hurled croissants about the kitchen in a horrendous spray of croissant-crumbs.

So, here's the real deal. The first say, 4 segments are unarguably very good. Then it gets a little slow... and they dedicate about 15 minutes to ski-BASEing so if thats your thing... yeah. It finishes off strong as well, it's cool to see some of the old guys like Davenport back and, as usual Hugo slays it. The soundtrack is completely unoriginal though. You've heard almost all the songs in other movies.... so, it's good... but I'll bet good ol' Jonny D. will outsell MSP again this year.

Tanners segment sucks. That bitch cannot ski big Mountain at all. And he said he was tryin to focus on it this year, but jesus watching him try and make a turn in powder is like watching a kid do the ski wedge down the bunny hill. Literally he has garbage form and really looks out of control Stick to the park if you can't ski big mountian. I love watching him in the park, but watching him anywhere else is like watching tapes of my little brother.

Basically i think that Yearbook had the best cinematography ive ever seen in a ski movie, the shots with the helicopter rotating around CR, tanner, and abma dont get boring at all. It was a tight movie

i thought earbook was a sick movie, but the only problem i had with it, was that it had too much ski baseing, seeing basically the same thing done over and over again off of different peaks gets a little bit boring after a while

Yea but you have to admit that is pretty cool to watch those guys do that... even though it was long, the movie still kicked ass, the camera shots, the music, it all works. and you can't say that you didn't like Amba's part, it was fucking sick as shit. I don't think that i've seen a better segment in a long time. The movie has it all, big mountian, jibbing, and stupid ski movie stuff, and you gotta watch the extras w/ the Karaoka night i was laughing my ass off.
