On my home computer, there are absolutely NO banner ads at all besides the NS ones. I havent seen one ever.

Then, a week ago I took my computer to my uncles house because we rented ours out for a week, and every time I came here there were banner ads. Same computer, same ISP, just different IP adresses. But one has ads and one doesnt. Whats going on

also, when the forums were down, I got all the banner ads, like the one for JMMT, and since harvey fixed it they're gona again, its wierd

That's really odd that you didn't get the ads until you changed locations/ips. I know that the ads don't show up for some people, but I always assumed it was computer-specific.

Also, about the JMMT ad: that was a 'default' add from way back in the day. What happens is when there aren't any ads to show, it would show that one. When the server crashed, the ad database got corrupted so it just showed that one.

are you talking like pop up ads? or the banner ads in the top right hand corner. cuz i get no popups, and the banner ad always says something about NS. never anything else.
