Maybe despite all the bitchin' upgrades Harvey has made to the site, it's just not the same when there are only boring, juvenile, unfunny, postwhore NS-wannabes who pretend that they have been on the site forever. The site just isn't good when there is no one worth talking to, it's only usefulness to me nowadays is to find out about stuff in Boulder through the regional forums. I used to be able to ask for advice (and expect good, funny, interesting answers), or pose a philosophical question, or share a funny story, and expect there to be a meaningful discussion of ideas with people that you liked and liked you, and the best part was they skied, which was a common experience that gave everyone a common bond. There is simply no point into trying to be an active poster 'cause despite Harvey's best and amazing efforts, you can't upgrade the gay-ass people on here, only the layout and features.

ya man... i'm sure there is a way we can sneak in a little chat room somewhere for such discussions. invite only no doubt. i vote anybody who knows something about computers does it. i used to read all those and think to myself 'i wish i were that smart'... so young.. and besides evolution, there were the many religious ones with GOOD thoughts put in, and the many about the most random but interesting topics.

I'm not going to quit complaining. This site sucks now. I especially hate the exclusionist 'donator's forum', I was going to donate, but when that was set up as a special reward for the priveleged people, it pissed me off and I decided not to give any money.
