Well I did some calculations:

1 (number of shots a zombie can take to the head) + 1 (How many bullets come out of a single barrel shotgun) = 2 (How many legs a zombie has) * 12 (Length of my pistol) = 24 (How many minutes I can last through Nian Cat)

However, 24 also happens to be a popular TV show where they kill people so obviously you would in fact be shot.
