I just got the craziest virus ever

Man I opened a link from a friend over msn and it turns out it was some crazy ass virus. Pretty much what it does is it takes over your msn and hotmail account every once in a while and it sends everyone a message with a link that your supposed to open. It's very odd watching your computer do things that you have no control over.
 
sub-seven is a VERY old virus that was controlled by someone on the other end. We used to play with it back in the day, haha. You could flip peoples screens and half the time they were looking at porn. I must have been 10 (I'm 19 now) when we did that. Good times. I doubt that's what he had though.
 
haha i got a wicked bad virus on my comp once. I was looking at porn and then my screen just turn black and trojan virus. It was quite awkard asking my moms friend to fix it..
 
I got one like that on IM, it would message people on my buddylist with "yo ckeck this out then the link" wasn't hard to get rid of
 
its going through my entire msn list and sending them a like to www.cutenhot.com or something like that. its also getting past my secret question for hotmail and asking me to reset my hotmail password to something new. im fucked
 
too bad if you aren't a complete n00b you can easily avoid any viruses...anything a mac can do a pc can do cheaper.
 
i just got this weird one too... i open an internet window (my homepage is NS), but it opens to a TOTALY RANDOM website every time now!! i have tried like 56 times to set my home page to NS again (the same way i did when i got the comp)... but no luck... comments???
 
yea dude this happened to a bunch of my friends and all there screens are like stuck upside down and when they get on msn it just types random stuff and sends people links
 
Run Ad-Aware, Spybot, and AVG Anti-Virus. All are free. If that doesn't fix it, then uhm... ask someone else. Haha.
 
i used to have one that put up an away message with a link randomly. it was a pain in the ass because even if i wasnt on aim it would start it and put up an away

i had that on AIM all u have to do is run some virus software or like spyware and it will go away, its easy to get to go away
 
virushouse.com has a whole list of viruses that you can send out and modify, whatnot.

As a personal recommendation, don't go to the website, unless you know what ur doing u can really screw shit up
