Not sick at all. At our public beach there are two or three access roads onto the beach. The skatepark is right there and i have always seen cars drive out up and down the beach, RIGHT IN FRONT OF POLICE CARS 75% of the time. There are no signs, nothing saying don't drive on the beach, permit only, nothing. So tonight, at 5-530, still twilight, not dark at all, I was driving down the beach, doing maybe 10 because i saw people on the beach. And when i was leaving some guy was walking down the beach and i passed by him at 5mph, this is not an exageration....5mph and he steped back into the hull of a privatly owned boat on the beach. I get home and a cop is in my drive way. Oh boy. He walks around my car takes my ID and asks why do you think im here. I said I drove on the beach, but that wasn;t illegal was it? he then says yes and you have a few charges against you,

I go inside, wait he comes in. This guy is 6 3 250 maybe, and he walks in my dogs start barking, he freaks out. Says he has been bitten three times...Oh boy three times, but anyways we bring our big dog upstairs...not big at all, its a female australian sheperd. but left out 3 month old puppy in the kitchen. It comes as sits by his feet and he makes the funniest noise i have ever heard. kinda like "UHHEEEEEE" but thats besides the point. Apparently this guy on hte beach claims i was doing 40mph and come within a few feet of him...if 20ft was a few feet, then yes i came within 20ft of him. Then when i say i wasn't doing 40, he says i'm i cop i can see the sand and know how fast you were going...WTF, I told him i was doing 5mph and we should go down to the beach so he can show me that i wasn't. Then he told me i had to jump my car to get onto the beach...there are three roads...is that a joke? 

So anyways i have a 92 dollar ticket to the DMV, then a fucking criminal charge!!! apparently because i "put the mans life at risk" i have to appear in court. this is a joke right? people around me don't have to appear in court for throwing house parties. I mean its february to boot. Its not like i drove my car down the beach in the middle of july.ugh so gay

if your tracks are still at the beach right now, go take pictures of them, it may or may not help, but it can't hurt if you were actually doing 5 mph
 
you're probably gonna have to pay the fines, but that criminal charge wont hold up in court, its not liek that dude went to the hospital, and no cop witnessed it
 
i mean im fine with paying a fine, apparently i did something wrong...even though there was no sign and its a road onto the beach....a road...what else are roads used for? but the criminal charge is shit. and after i asked the cop to go to the beach he shut up because he knew he was wrong, a cop isnt a forensic scientist, he cant tell shit from my tire track...my mom also pwned him to, because he was saying something about giving me a trespassing charge and my mom goes well the man was apperantly standing in some mans hobie cat, and im pretty sure that private property, so you should go press charges against him for trespassing
 
if the police didn't actually see it then that guy who turned you in can't just make sure you get a ticket. thats like me saying to a cop that some car just drove by at 190mph, and the cops going to that guys house and arresting him. bullshit. it may be illegal to drive on the beach but there needs to be signs. i know that if it's a coatal beach it is considered government highway and the speed limit is 55mph. but if it's just that guys word against yours there's no way that he can just SAY you were doing 40. deny that shit to the grave. also take pictures of the beach and show that there are no signs. and it's not illegal to ALMOST hit someone.
 
90% chance the cop doesn't show up on your court date and the charges get dropped. Might have to pay the fine though.

Don't get a lawyer unless they actually charge you. On the first day they just tell you charges and ask if you need a public defender and what not.
 
thats worse than what i have to deal with iyesterday we had snow and we were doing donuts in front of my friends house- me and the other kids were doing little ones down the road and come up the culdesac- my other firend drives an Volkwagen R32 with a ton of shit- he is doing 40 and then whipping donuts with his exhaust screaming-(type ine r32 exhaust on youtube to hear how loud and awsome it is) any way ihadparked and some guys called the cops on us- they showed up at my friends house and ask to see our licenses- ok then they explain that we are all getting tickets cor careless drving- 120 dollar fine and 3 points on your license- the r32 guy got that plus reckless drving plus tressspassing because he touched the guys lwan with his car- so anyway the guy that called the cops calls me and says i didn't mean to get u in trouble only the other 2- the cops said all of them or none- so he is going to help me when i fight the ticket at court
 
well he didnt get you on radar so just bring that up. and theres no way you would have been going 40 on sand and stayed in control of your car. goodluck dude just bring it to court and you should be fine. your innocent till proven guilty and if someone just says you were doing it without any proof you should be fine.
 
yeah i go to court on the 25th, seriously...who calls the cops for that i put no ones life at risk its just dumb, i would have been fine if i only got the ticket, but a criminal charge is trash
 
Take pictures , or even video, of the route you took onto the beach. That way you can conclusively prove there are no signs and that you didn't jump your car onto the beach.
 
tell the judge that he touched you in your crotchal region, and tried to sex you up. you got as much evidence of that as he does of you speedin.
 
that fuckin sucks..if you can appeal it, i def would, and if you do, dress very nice cuz theyll go easier on you

and you shouldn't have said that you thought it was about driving on the beach, you should've been like, no whats the problem officer?
 
What a bunch of assholes, that's ridiculous. Make sure to show up to your court date, I've definitely slipped a few nooses from having the charges dropped. Just talk to the cop before the case is brought before court, explain your case as politely as possible, and negotiate like a bankrupt Jew.
 
today i ran a yellow light but it turned red while i was still in the intersection cause i was going super slow cause there were cars stopped a head of me. Cop pulls up next to me and is like " i catch you run another red light like that Im writing you up every ticket the state allows" so the picture of that owl came to my head and i was about to say "O RLY?" but i reconsidered and said "uh sorry" and he drove off, presumably with a boner
