Hey so i just got diagnosed with mono. blows. so i was wondering for those of you who have gotten it. how long till i can share a piece with friends. how lond till i can kiss a girl. how long am i gonna be down?

I still have a good amount of energy. enough to go and hang with friends if i wouldnt infect them. its possible i got it a while ago and am just having a break out. please help.
 
Yeah make sure your will is filled out and shit.

But for real, for me it lasted like 2 weeks of being contagious. Roughly a month until I felt up to like %90 percent again.

My sister had mono like 6 months back and it's bad. She had it real bad seeing as she had it during finals and couldn't come home till' she was done. I think it took her about 3 months to be back to her maximum strength, but it's important to know that mono doesn't ever go away completely, it'll always be there. Don't share anything until your doctor gives you the ok.
 
I had mono. Except I had it simultaneously with Meningitis. And now I have a fucked central nervous system and health complications I'll be battling the rest of my life. Not a happy ending for me.

Sounds like you're not even in the hospital though... you'll be fine in a week.
 
had it this year at school for 3 months, wasnt diagnosed for 2 months and in that time i shared alot of joints and fucked my girlfriend alot, but after i knew i had mono i stopped. i didnt end up infecting anyone but i wouldnt risk it.
 
I mono ski all the time dude, you just have to work on getting out of the water or else it feels like your shoulders are going to explode every time you fuck up. Once you've mastered getting up, jumping the wake is fun stuff to learn. There's instructional videos on youtube and shit. YEAHHH MONO SKIING!

Be careful. I had a friend in grade 9 that died from it. It makes your organs swell so you have to be careful with activities. He died from heart failure due to mono. So fucked :(
 
Yeah... I had it before. Just make sure you get it taken care of, because if you dont, your spleen will swell and explode et al Simon Dumont style...
