Yeah, I'm selling my GL1 to buy a D70, or an EOS 10D if my bro can get it cheap from a guy he knows who imports them, hopefully...

 
Well, I'm still undecided. I've read through literally hundreds of posts on dpreview.com comparing the two and I'm still not completely decided. Most people are saying they are both awesome so go with whichever you have lenses for already. I've never owned an SLR so I have no brand preference at all. It seems the 10D is more suited to the more professional photographer, so maybe the D70 would be better for me just now. It's all going to depend on prices probably. If my bro's friend can get me the 10D cheaper than the D70 then I'll go with that seeing as I need to save as much cash as possible at the moment. Anyway, I'm sure I'll love either.

I'll be using a Sigma 18-125mm nomatter which I get - perfect lens for me considering my budget and I've seen some great reviews. Slight vignetting at wide angle from samples I've seen, but easily fixed in Photoshop so for the price it should be cool.

I got mine for $299. it's 4 mp, and has about 50 scene assists. It's so sick. There's sports mode where it takes about 30 pictures in 3 or 4 seconds. It sucks tho, cause right after I bought it, I found one on the internet for $215.

i got a video camera its not the best video camera in the world but it fits my needs well, its small and works fine, i got it for like 400 dollers
