yeah so my armada rep just walked in to give us a little clinic on the 2 armada skis we carry (my boss hates twin tips) but yea little did i know that he would show me the new designs for next years skis. all of them!! i didn't stop looking forever. But yeah, long story short they are sicker than ever. and uhhh you can't see them cuz the rep would kill me if i showed you

i don't know if i can tell you anything about the skis construction wise and there line up. all i really wanted to tell you that if you thought some of the designs were lackin this year aka arv, and thall(sorry but i didn't like it, too boring) all of the topsheets are amazing. you just can't imagine. i might be able to say more after january after the ski show
 
I saw Tanner today at breck, he was ridin' some Armadas that I didn't recognize, must be skis in development. They looked sick though.
 
There are pros all over breck and keystone right now cause they are the only ones with a decent park right now. Everyone needs snow!
 
The pipe cleaner is one of the best twin tips to hit the market. it has to be the fastest ski in transition on the market, of couse Armada will produce it again. I would image it would only be better next year, of course!..

when i worked at a store that sold armada the rep was a tool. in two years we only saw him once! how's that for service?

 
Next years Dynastar limited edition? A bunch of the team was rocking something that looked like that at PC lately.
 
And why do you guys tug to new graphics so much? They're prolly gonna be about the same ski.... and you're sitting here flipping out because they have new graphics that you want to see? If you want, i'll PS some graphics onto a ski if it'll make you happy.

i really liked the thall. but i was so dissapointed in the ARV. im trying to pick up last years cuz that graphic is so gay. im stoked to see next years.
 
i saw tanner the other day in pc... and he had black skis with a rasta strip going down the side.... just tell me... are those the thalls for next year??
 
doesnt everyone know that the nicer the graphics on the topsheet the better the ski.

I hate everyone on NS who buys a ski without demoing it or at least considering some reviews on how it skis.

I am surprised I'm not attacked in the park everyday, my bindings don't even match my skis! ahhhh and my goggles dont match anything. plus the topsheet on my skis has chips in it.

haha yeah you have a very good point, i have to say last years ANT was a sick ski, but those topsheets made it even sicker, not a good enough reason for buying it, but if the ant fit your bill it was a huge plus to get a sick topshet like that

if you've noticed. people aren't sayin anything about the ski being better than this years. all they are sayin is the topsheet is killer. they aren't sayin the ski is technically better. because they can't know. plus i don't hear people complainin when people are showin off the rest of their gear and talkin about the designs. better desige doesn't equal better jacket. same with skis. its just fun to talk about. and if all of you really didn't care about the topsheet of the ski. you would be asking for a plain ski right? no graphics?
 
I ski on a ski that is one colour with maybe a little logo just above where the binding goes. I would rather the thousands of dollars the company pays to the graphic designers to either go into better ski innovation or into a cheaper ski. But I guess since 75%+ of people buy skis without even having tried them out and just go by the hype and graphics, it wouldn't be worth it for ski manufacturers to do that.
 
your bragging over nothing. i work at a store in southeastern michigan and ive not seen or heard from the armada rep once. not to mention their skis are garbage. buy a k2 or a rossi, theyve been making skis a lot longer. who cares if they dont have the "struggling company/sweet graphics" image, they have the quality and the durability.

don't worry guys, we know that you know a lot about skis. we never doubted you - don't bother telling us how stupid we are for liking how certain skis look.
 
someone is bitter because they bought a pair of skis the day they came out without knowing how they skied but thought the graphics were cool and now have a shitty ski with no edges.
 
yeah well maybe ur rep just doesn't like you. cuz i'm in indiana and my rep is probably ur rep. but saying armada is garbage is just about the dumbest thing you could say. those things last so damn long its not even funny. and if youre takin about kids comin into the shop sayin thier skis are broken. they've probably been urbanin the shit outta them
