...And its pretty sick. Of course not as good as Liquid Swords, but I'd say it's about on the same level as legend of the liquid sword.

It's refreshing to see his style change up a bit as he gets older. He seems to focus on world issues more, songs like Columbian ties, path of destruction, short race, etc. Some of the beats are nice, some of them rather lackluster unfortunately, I'd say about half the songs are sick. I'm a little unsure though, because Gza has a much more laid back style now as he gets older, and you don't feel the same energy like earlier Wu Tang hits. He's got some interesting featurettes with his son, like the song groundbreaking, and his lyrics are still sick.

Check it out, and if you've heard it, voice your opinion.

the only song i've gotten so far is pencils, off of itunes. i like it alot but it sounds similar to shadowboxin'.

nevermind i just listened to it again and there actually not that similar, just the high pitched voice thing every couple beats.

I think my favorite is 7 pounds, it has pretty damn sick sampling, and gza makes the sickest diss rap, but at the same time mindfully makes observations about MCing.

i got it last week...the first time i listened to it through i wasnt that impressed but i have def grown to like it a lot more as i have listened to it....sick cd.

beneath the surface is still my fav

p.s. my friend is going to see GZA do the entire liquid sords album LIVE track for track on 9/11
