since my breaks are off by over 20 cm on each ski and i haven't bent them yet, and tomorrow is my last chance to get out.. i needed something that i could do that the lift attendants would let me on with. So i needed something to tie around. Pieces of string, knots, snow board leashes later i ended up with something. No pics sorry im to tired to do that but it looks pretty jokes.

Word, I ran leashes on my Prophet 130s...just crank your DIN up a notch or two from where you usually ride (or where the shop set you) I've taken some end-over-end tumbles and never popped out. And I never even had a liftie give me a second look, they never checked for brakes and you couldn't see my leashes cause of my pant legs. How fat are we talking here?

20 mm is easy......i bent a stock rossi brake to fit around a prophet 130 and it works perfectly, never a problem. it just took a lot of effort and 4 hands to get them bent so niely

Wow, knee destruction is sweet, haha. Seriously though, if you're running 916s you've gotta be legit, or those things will eat you alive.

I really doubt anyone would say shit to you for not having brakes.

I skied all season with out brakes and not one word from anyone

who cares if the lifties don't care. do you really only want one ski at the end of the day? brakes are dopesauce. if you don't have them, or break them like i did use a snowboard leash

u could bend them

there was a vid on tgr, of a guy bending brakes for a 125 waist ski

though i believe u should remove the brake from the binding if you are using look or rossi, because they use harder metal

bending is better than slicing yo face up

If you hang your dong outta your pants every time you get on the lift, the lifties won't be looking at your skis.

Trust me on this one.

how would they check the brakes on every customer's skis...

If they do, I feel sorry for those lifties
