The new one was "ok"..the jokes were well done but the pacing was off so I didn't really find it as funny as it should have been.

I saw that shit, sober, it was illin. The orig is classic but that one is all new and hip. Depp makes it super weird and no one else could have taken that part the way he did.

yeah those oompa loompas definately blew compared to the old ones, the new songs were stupid and too oriented to the kid part of the audience..... it was crap, but the extra bit of ending was pretty cool. and the puppets at the begging... with thier own burn center.... Haha it drove me crazy, but how did he end up getting all of that nasty dental work off? He's a 12 yrold kid.... on his own.... no money...??i think that was a little weird. overall, old one was better.

yeah i saw it blunted. he reminded me of michael jackson. there is a lot of innuendos to drugs. the oompa songs are tight. it iis such a weird movie though.

i saw it today, i thought it was really weird, but some parts were amazingly funny for some reason (no i wasn't high) i laughed so hard when the narrator said "he announced that he was going to close the factory forever" and immediately after johnny depp said "i'm going to close the factory..... forever". i didn't like the oompa loompas at all though, their songs sucked, but it was funny that they were all the same person copied a bunch of times. tim burton is a great director and i want to see the corpse bride, although i know there will be a completely gothic fan base, just like how they took a nightmare before christmas from us. i fucking loved that movie too, and now every faggy goth kid has a nightmare before christmas sweatshirt and backpack. i'll never forgive them.

The original Wonka was better than the new one because in the original all the oompa loompas were different, while in the new one they were all digitally edited.
