for next year, one of my biggest hopes for skiing, (besides stopping the hating) is that the media will change. i want to see more videos about fun. fun, innovative pow jumps, new urban set ups besides just rails, more towards snowboarding videos. they are just soo fun to watch. dont get me wrong, skiing videos are fun to watch too, its just like, they are all soo serious, same tricks over and over, cork 7's, rail slides, 270s on, you can predict it all. i guess in order for this to happen though, people need to try more innovative things, think outside the box, new ways to ski. you can do anything you want on skis, you just have to play around with ideas until the trick works. im not just saying this for someone else to do, i'm going to try to do this with the video i am going to produce over the course of next winter. yeah i may fail, infact i probably will, but in my opinion, it takes failing and making mistakes to move forward, everyone knows you learn from your mistakes. people may totally disagree with me, but this is just where i stand. what are your thoughts?
