I hope this really isn't true

don't worry, sometimes the news just prints stuff that's blatantly false to make sure you're paying attention. congratulations! you win!

^ well i dont know the stats but i do know he didn't win much, not the xgames at least

the x games tuned gay over the last two years. and i dont think im the only one with that opinion. i think if he doesnt compete he will get better footy for gilms and such

the jump size and it practically tuned into a switch 1080 huckfest which wasnt judged on style but on the amount of spin

I mean they even set up a slow-speed tech jib course for the masters last year and the majority of the skiers just hucked shit all day.

maybe tanner will do the first switch skichute!!

Does anyone remember when Armada said he was quitting skiing to go to Harvard last year? Everyone on NS was talking about it. Then They said he was going to be a ski trooper for the army because their first joke was taken so seriously. Not saying this is the same... but that was hella funny.

Yeah I can't believe people actually thought those spoofs were true, haha.

I don't know he said he wasn't going to do the Open last year and low behold he showed up.

Im glad hes stopping comps, now he can spend less time trying to do a switch right 10 in the park and practising his comp runs, and more time inventing tricks and playing with the sport - which is good news for us as everyone seems to love what he has come up with so far.

im actually glad hes getting back into the big mountain shit. Way to man of the kids these days are solely park, and they don't realize that theres a whole nother experience out there. You can do everything in the backcountry as you can do in the park, plus everything is 10 times as big. the park is fun, im not saying its not, but everybody these days is ranting about how park is what will progress this sport. I disagree. I do feel that it will have an impact, but people need tp realize their skiing roots, and head more for the all natural shit.
