Alright so i can get the Scratch BC WRS or the Scratch FS WRS for super cheap. On most days i ski groomed, bumps, trees in the morning (if theres no fresh snow), and in the afternoon i hit up the park so id say i ski 50% pow,all-mountain and 50% park (unless theres fresh snow, then i ski pow all day). I am 5'7-5'8, weigh 130Lbs, and am a aggresive skier. Right now im leaning towards the BC's cause there only $100 more and they will kill the pow/all-mountain and sound that they are very decent in the park as well, Ur thoughts? Also i did not ski at all this year do to blowing my knee and am wondering if i will be able to handle the BC at the start when i ski em next year

Thanks yal

BCs sound good for what you want to do. They are very manageable in the park too, so don't worry about that.

i hellp u wiv engwish iff u wawnt?

hold on though lemme read your thread real quick to see if I can actually help

bc for sure. I think you would regret not getting them when you try to ski the fs in pow. And the bc is decent for everything, not so fat that it sucks on groomers or park.

i have the fs for a park only ski. they rip, but if you're going to be skiing out of the park i'd go bc for sure. they pretty much act just like the fs, just not quite as responsive. the bc runs shit and acts much narrower than it really is. bc all day.

Hmmm... You ski the same sorta things I do. I've got a couple different pairs of skis (PEs, TMs, JP vs Juliens), but I ski Line Motherships (90mm waist) almost all the time now.

I know it wasn't in the two choices gave, but maybe you should look for a ski that's inbetween those two.

If you can't do that, I'd probably go for the BCs if you enjoy powder skiing. My only problem with skiing fat skis all the time is that if you get stuck in crud or bumps, they handle way worse than a skinny ski. Hope that helps!

BC snow and Alberta Snow isn't the same. I know if i was skiing on and off pow days in BC their wet snow would kill me with a skinnier waist, I just got back from fernie and was super thankful i was skiing on a Fat ski (mothership).

Sunshine, the Lake, Norquay and Marmot are my home mountains. And personally, i think you would find the BC perfect for handeling all of the conditions it has to throw you. With the Skis THC core its going to ski lighter than alot of other fat twins, so when your outside of the park (trees, bumps and what not) you wont find the ski too hard to throw around.

What park are you riding as well? How do you like Sunshine's set up this year? I just rode Lake Louise's and I thought their lines were huge.

trick question, since it seems you have to go with Rossi to get your cheap prices, Sprayer BC is the way to go. with a forgiving flex that's fun in park and added waist for the powpow, it seems to be the beast for you. and don't worry about the durability, it has the same edges, the only difference is the core, which is standard wood core (like most other skis) while the other is the foam wood mix. you may also save some money going this route too. and you are light so they won't be too soft to sacrifice all mountain performance.

This place has BCs for fucking cheap. i think it was like 350 or maybe a tad lower. insane price for a BC, and haha, the FS is about a hundred more.

the BC probably is the best choice for you, and kinda what it was designed for. rossi says that in a big mountain area, it hauls and performs well, keeps truckin without loosing its mobility, basically a good powder ski and all mountain ski. then it also says when you bring it into jibbing and park, itll perform amazingly too. soo....rossi is basically stating in lots of words and long sentences that they made a really good all mountain ski, which you will love. do itttt.

don't support christy's, cause they certainly don't support us (other than hiring attractive women to work the register), they hire gaper's who were terrible racers back in the day as techs (usually), then they won't center mount your skis (when i asked them to, with a line drawn for center, the mounted at -8, -6 was recommended). they are a big corporate company.
