Good energy, moisture, and jet support with this storm combining to make a good winter/blizzard this evening. We will likely see another 4-8” tonight in areas favored by southwesterly flow. Strong southwesterly winds to continue through the evening and early tomorrow, maxxing out at 50mph along the 10,000’ unobstructed ridges. Front moves through early morning and snow should continue in earnest through noon. Storm totals are likely 12-20” by the time the storm moves to the east. Winds start to become a more reasonable 15-20mph by mid-morning Tuesday. Temps tonight in the mid-twenties, cooling to the mid-teens tomorrow.

Things dry out pretty quickly late Tuesday, but we stay somewhat unsettled for Wednesday. Warming trend forecast to push 10,000’ temps to +2C(36F) late Thursday enroute +5C(41F) by Friday.
