as long as you guys are digging it. I've really been cranking out the mixes recently. I wouldn't put it in front of people if I thought it was wack. And I'm a very harsh critic of myself.
 
@vulpix: thank you as always. I really like my first 40+ minutes. The end, where I picked up the perceived tempo, could have came together a little better. But by that point, I was a little warmed over with alcohol.
 
@jim: I'm working on that. I've been fucking around with fruityloops off and on trying to find synths I like.I was thinking once I have my "mobile utility kit" put together for playing shows, I'd invest $50 in a portable KORG I saw on Amazon. I have the ideas for some tracks... just no skills to actually make them though. IBut I'm sure I'll get it over time. I have alot of friends IRL to collaborate with who know fruity better than I. So stay tuned. I'm sure it will be things that are very bassey and 16-bit. And very 808-heavy.
@scott0_robott0: Coming from a not-dubstep fan, I'll take that as a compliment. If you dig drum and bass, keep me in mind. Now that I've cranked out 2 decent mixes in 2 weeks, I'm going to go back to my roots.
 
just listened to it all, it was sweet! Some sick drops and awesome lines, keep up the good work.
 
@1337: I'm glad you approve. After further review, I think there's some things I could have did better. But I give it a solid B. In retrospect, I should have said "hour length be damned" and let some of the end tracks play out more. but I think I was trying to go for flash at that point where the beat density picks up.

I love songs with random audio/talking in the beginning, so I liked that, but to be honest with you I didn't listen to it all

to be fair Ill give it a listen later and tell you what I thought

@ski.the.east: Well... you might think that talking is random. But it's actually a reading from "Neuromancer" by William Gibson. It's the opening passage from "Chapter 1: Chiba City Blues".

The sky above the port was the color of television, tuned to a dead channel.

"It's not like I'm using," Case heard someone say, as he shouldered his way through the crowd around the door of the Chat. "It's like my body's developed this massive drug deficiency." It was a Sprawl voice and a Sprawl joke. The Chatsubo was a bar for professional expatriates; you could drink there for a week and never hear two words in Japanese.

Ratz was tending bar, his prosthetic arm jerking monotonously as he filled a tray of glasses with draft Kirin. He saw Case and smiled, his teeth a webwork of East European steel and brown decay. Case found a place at the bar, between the unlikely tan on one of Lonny Zone's whores and the crisp naval uniform of a tall African whose cheekbones were ridged with precise rows of tribal scars. "Wage was in here early, with two joeboys," Ratz said, shoving a draft across the bar with his good hand. "Maybe some business with you, Case?"

Case shrugged. The girl to his right giggled and nudged him.

The bartender's smile widened. His ugliness was the stuff of legend. In an age of affordable beauty, there was something heraldic about his lack of it. The antique arm whined as he reached for another mug.

It sets up the theme of the mix. I'm a sucker for themes and concepts.
 
@KimJong: BTW... I was checking out some other 'step threads and I saw that you had posted a YouTube link to that Cookie Monsta remix of "Dirty Pictures". You're obviously a connoisseur. What did you think of my mix?
