I hear surface skis online store is open...

and with less than fifty pairs, the watch lives will be gone before i can scrounge up the cash, bummer

sort of curious on the all mountain capability of the watch life. are we talking like a flex similar to a stl? or what? the price is right.

from a business/customer point of view it would be cool if the people that are plugging surface so hard could answer my fucking question.

thanks.

Here's the skinny on the WLseries. They are designed to be an all terrain freestyle ski. This means we blended the best features from a pure freestyle ski and an all mountain ski and put them into one package. The flex is stiff enough to handle all mountain, but is still butter friendly, the sidecut has taper to it for turn initiation, but the setback on the sidecut is 0, meaning you are very balanced on the ski for spins, rails, etc. Essentially this is the one ski quiver.

Hope that answers your question.

Surface Skis

i've been skiing on the watch lives since june. i spent two weeks in hood, a month in new zealand, and almost twenty days in utah and colorado. They hvae been super solid and have held up through all the damage i've given them.

lately with all the new snow we've gotten (2 feet or more) i was timid on riding the watch lives because of the waist size but they have been killing it. sometimes i forget they are a park ski because they ride so well in powder forwards switch whichever way!

i've been loving them they ski really well and have enough flex to have all the jibbing fun i want!

from this customers point of view i'm pretty damn impressed you just got a personal reply from the head of manufacturing of the company!!

i'm sure there is only 2 or 3 companies, if that, that would reply to you personally about their skis.

chillax brosef.

That's what I wanted to hear. Thank you

And yes zissou, I am impressed. There are less ski companies that you can count on one hand that would actually have a person invovled with production answer a question personally.

I like that.

they have a medium flex, nothing like the noodles they call stls, making them versatile for any kind of skiing. They are one hell of a fun ski as well and are holding up perfectly

I am overly impressed that a product manager posted a response, props to that, and to a dope ass site, and a convincing dogma and a fixed gear on the homepage, good luck dudes, ill seriously consider a pair next season.

im just curious, why is that a mod can post shit completely advertising for a company, yet when someone posts something very similar to this about another company.. the shit gets taken down immediatly? not gonna go into specifics but this is ridiculous.
