I have an important question

remove grips by putting them in boiling water for a few minutes so they expand and come off
then cut both poles to desired length with a hacksaw or better, with a pipecutter
then re-heat the grips, but them on, let them cool down and you're done!

this. you might have to put glue on the ends of the poles where the grips are put on so they stay intact, then use a mallot and hammer the grips down all the way.

like above, if they are loose after you put them back on you could go for glue, or remove grips, put a little bit of paper masking tape on the poles and put the grips back on, over the tape...
they wont move anymore (same trick with the paper masking tape also works perfect for bicycle grips)

do u guys know if its ok to take the grips off more than once cuz i cut my line pins already but i want them smaller
