I have an important question

I'd say about 5- 10 minutes, also never use epoxy when you put it back on as it doesn't like to move, rubber cement will work better if you ever want to take the grip off again.
 
works like a charm. did this with my joy stick poles, cut them down and put the grips back on. i still cant pull them off without boiling them
 
I've also just put them in a mounted clamp (i think thats what there called) and pulled saves having to boil them
