I was discussing the SLVSH tournament that's going on right now with Birrion and I had an idea.

What if we did our own tournament in Summit county? There are so many local riders who slay hard every dang day. But will most likely never get to be in an official slvsh game. I would love to watch those riders in a tournament!

So here's where I need your help!

First off. Comment who you would want to be in it! Then get them to commit to being in it or not. This would 100% fall through and never work if people flaked. Comment as many names as you want. The more the merrier. As long as we can fit all the games in.

Second. When should we have these games? Asap? End of season at Breck? Crappy A Basin park? At Hood in May? What works best for the most people?

Third. We would need people willing to film and judge.

This would be such a sick idea

I think get games going ASAP in Colorado and Utah and then continue them into Hood. Maybe have the first round in CO and then second/third/fourth or however many there will be in hood

The problem with that is people would have to be free to travel. And be able to pay for it themselves. Most people have jobs. And no money haha

Ya haha right after I posted it I realized that problem
 
One idea to get some games is to post somewhere "hey were gonna film games at x on date y, meet at z" and if nobody shows up there's bound to be at least two people already at the hill who is killing it. Chances are if you stop them and ask if they want to play they'll say yes. I know I would.

That'd be quite tight.

Key closes this weekend and then Breck next weekend so you could crank out at least 2 rounds of games for a 16 person tourney if you played all day
 
Hood in May would be sick. Get together one morning and make the bracket via names in a hat. Then each group breaks up and goes to play their game. That could be in the morning and then we all meet up and shred for the afternoon. Kinda like an extended NS gathering. Plus, it adds all parts people want: the dope games, and the mellow vibe and bringing people who love this great sport together to ride that NS is all about in the first place.

I'll get that first one going ASAP. What if bfish doesn't agree? Would you be satisfied with Lencon vs shin bang?
