ok so yeah i got a sheet of it but i have no clue where to cut it

i hear i need a diamond saw for it

found it in my basebament thought id make a box or somehting with it

but where can i cut it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

please help ns

Lexan can be cut with anything you want to cut it with. handsaw, circular saw, dental floss. doesn't matter. it isn't a hard substance that needs a special blade.

alright thanks

i thought since it was like bulletproof or whatever i needed a diamond saw

but now thanks to you i will test it

and all i need is wood and some sticky ass glue or something

we screwed it into the wood. and like we recessed the holes...i think that's the term. so like the top of the screw heads sit below the surface you know?

if your sheet is to thin to countersink, like less than half inch, than you can use liquid nails, or some other adhesive, or carriage bolts if you dont mind a few bumps

You can even countersink on 1/4" just be careful when you do it. I would recomend some of that and some liquid nails.

use a hack saw. they are good for cutting stuff like that. and make sure to pre drill your holes because lexan is prone to cracking like said above.

score it with a razorblade and snap it off. then drill holes in it to fix it to your box frame. but don't press too hard with the drill, or you'll crack it to the edges, slow and steady.

yeah the sheet is reallly really thin id saw 1/4" so im probably gonna use the liquid nail idea or the other glue someone was talking about
