As many of you read before about SmoothBourquein's stolen 4fronts and the craziness with his skis that he went through. And I, like everyone else, sit here and think, 'damn that's rough, poor kid, that reminds me, I want to go ski/ride tomorrow'. I never knew the pain that goes along with losing a significant other until tonight. My snowboard was stolen before I even got to ride. All I could think was how could a fellow boarder or skier be so twisted as to want to take something so meaningful away from someone. They of all people should understand the attachment to something such as skis/board. Damn people.

I do but it's not the same. The board was a year old and the bindings were new this season and ahhhhhh. The person better hope they never meet me because there is no hope for me being rational, not even the slightest bit.

Well, anyways, if you cant get a new one for whistler I might be able to lend you one or something if I'm up there during that time (cause I might be). But U better not steal it *shaking fist*

 
Yeah I know he got them back after that whole mess.. But I must admit, I have no hope that I'll get it back. I'm not normally pesemistic but I am about this. They told me someone stole a rental board once and went down to Maryland to sell it. 4 other boards were stolen tonight too. 2 at the exact same time as me but their boards are far away from mine. And as Nick had distinct skis, I have a distinct board, but I just have this feeling that I won't ever see my boy again.

But if any of you see a NeverSummer snowboard with a black and green top and black and red bottom with green and chrome bindings, let me know.

Shitty deal. It sucks that people have to be assholes. It sucks too because there really isn't much you can do to make yourself feel better.

We were skiing on saturday and Patrick (Capurnicus) had his goggles stolen... nice goggles too. Camo A Frames with Fire lenses, and it sucks because they weren't just nice goggles. They were goggles Philou gave to him. The ones he's wearing at Parkasaurus in Happy Dayz. It sucked. Then Pablo called.

Yeah you hit it on the money Jay. Nothing can be done to make me feel better - I can't do anything and my friends can't do anything. I started to feel a little better after I called 4 shops in the area that will sell used boards on commission and left memos to have them call me if they get my board, but then someone was kind enough to through out the comment, 'yeah the person that stole it was probably from Maryland and will probably sell it down there - good luck finding it!' Wow people are great.

But on the other hand a friend at a local board shop usually hooks me up with a discount on stuff and said he'd get me an 03 Burton FeelGood for 300 - maybe that will work....

Ya know what? I actually thought about that. I thought about taking up skiing IN ADDITION TO snowboarding cause I think with all this new progression it has changed a lot and seems super sweet compared to when I used to do it. But I am definately not ready for a complete switch over or anything, snowboarding is my life.

i think its cool how a snowboarder didnt get flamed once this whole thread. the fued must be getting better. i cant feel exactly how you do but i had a nightmare about my skis getting stolen about a week ago, it was one of those where you were glad it was a dream.

This is sort of good news maybe. A friend said he knows a kid that stole a snowboard from our slope on Sunday. He said it could possibly mine cause he said it had cool bindings that were silver.... I've got my fingers crossed. Maybe I can work the chick deal on this. Fuck if it means getting my board back, anything but sexual favours.... ahh I miss my board so much!

Ya, i have a feeling somewhat like that, i had my seth pistols destroyed after my first weekend on them. Its horrible just to see them sitting in my room and not being able to use them cause there manked. So so very saddening.
