for a long while all i had heard was i write sins not tragedies and i went out and bought the album on a whim and it turns out that they are really good, thiuer stuff is very experemental and while people sit around and compare them to fallout boy, i can see y cuz the singer sound like the fall out boy guy but the more ive listened the more ive realized they r nothing alike and they are an amazing band...any one else feel the same?
 
i to think that they are good but you gonna get shit on this site for saying this cause all the kids on here are just way to cool to listen to panic.
 
Yeah, Panic! is really experimental and have come far. When I first started listening to them years ago, noone liked it. But since I Wright Sins, Not Tradgedies, everyone thinks their the shit (that's one thing that kinda pisses me off). If you go see them in concert, you'll wish you hadn't. The music is good, but they're too worried about the way the show is being run, not about playing their music for their fans. They've begun to sell-out.
 
hahaha you're such a fucking claimer, i remember when they had the demo's on AP.net and that was like end of 2005.

ryan and spencer weren't even out of highschool when that happened
 
also, about the live show, they have said all of the theatrics are for aesthetic value, which doesn't really mean that they aren't playing to full potential, its more of a "show" than a concert.

 
Panic does really cool music... but they have got to get a less homosexual sounding voice singing the songs...
 
That's what I'm talking about. Don't pay to see them at a concert. Waste of $25. Jack's Mannequin was with them and blew Panic away. Panic should be on tour with Jack's Mannequin instead of Jack's touring with Panic.
 
Thats true.. Jack's Mannequin is far more talented in my opinion.. mainly because Andrew can at least sing like a freaking guy lol.
 
they played like 2 dates, and their drummer (matt tong, i believe) had a collapsed lung, so they dropped and cobra starship picked up their spot
 
I just hate how they expect everyone to say their name with a fucking exclamation point. "So I was listening to PANIC!@+E@!# at the disco the other day." Fuck that.
 
dont ever compare panic at the disco to post-punk, real post punk is bands like pixies, gang of four etc.

For cool, experimental music that rocks and concerts to blow your mind, it's all about the Mars Volta. Tetragrammaton has some of my favorite moments in music ever.

plus you're a fucking idiot if you think anything they do now is better than tremulant/deloused era.

oh yeah, and they released one of the best selling records on an indie label of all time. i think they deserve a burly check and a contract.

 
Haha, I know most people already know about them, but I recently got Amputechture so I'm going through another Volta phase and couldn't contain myself. Deloused is by far their best album, but I am loving this new CD.. it has some inspiring shit.
