I fractured it during a thanksgiving day football game just found out a few days ago that it was actually fractured the doctor put my arm in a cast today and told me not to ski haha yeah right im deffinetely skiing but he only thing is I went to hold one of my poles today and it was like impossible to hold it right. Should I just ski no poles untill it heals and work on my style or just hold one retarded and the other okay lol what would you do?

HAHA fuck doctors man they are always pussies and tell you to take it easy if im geting surgery anyways why do I care what happens to it she said if I take it easy I might not need surgery but I have been weightlifting with it hurting me and I fell on it doin some urban shit already

i fractured my wrist i cut the cast off myself and went and played sports and now my wrist had to go in a cast for so long so i advise to keep it on and take it easy cause 4 months is way better than like 8

i dont think hes talkin about cutting his cast off, thats one of the dumbest things you could do.

yeah i know i was just saying that listening to the doctor is always good thing so if he tells u to take it easy u prolly should

last year i broke my thumb and had the same problem. i couldn't get a glow on either. i ended up taping a bag over my hand and then tucking a hat over that into my sleeve. it was sick. oh and yeah 1 pole.

you're an idiot. trust me, you do not want to fuck with injuries. i'm 20 and i feel like i'm 50 because i have to stretch 3 times a day so my ligaments/tendons dont stiffen up, and even then i'm constantly sore. i can't fall asleep at night because either my ankles, knees or back hurt too much. all because i beat the shit out of myself in my teens skating/skiing. you need to take care of your body and allow it proper time to heal, otherwise you will NEVER be at 100% again. period.

that other guy was right. doctors don't go to school for 12 years just to get a piece of paper. just b/c you're getting surgury doesn't mean you can do whatever you want to it. you're getting surgury for a specific reason. if you injure an already injured body part, its going to take at least twice as long to fully heal, in all reality. and if you injure it again before surgury, you will have to get different/more complicated surgury with a longer rehab to fix what you essentially intentionally fucked up.

Haha thanks for the suggestions and for the twenty year old guy that sucks dude but I have had so many injuries and never take it easy on them idk I will probably pay for it but its all good had a level three sprained ankle the first football game of the year and toughed it out it was very painful but now its healed up from physical therapy injuries suck

For myself it depends on the severity of the injury and the time it would take to heal. If it was serious i would just ski and stick to stuff i know i wouldn't hurt myself with. I'd prob go no poles. But if it wasn't and the cast would be off in a few weeks to a month i would basically do the same, reg rails and jumps and then just bust out when i'm 100%

what you whould have done is taken your pole to the doctors. that way they make the part across your hand smaller. i did it when i broke my wrist twice, they were coll with it.

i broke my wrist, and i was able to ski with my cast, but i just had to wear a HUGEE glove to fit on my hand over the cast, that was uncomfortable
