I have a bumb in my base. is it a problem?

i just bought a pair of 03/04 arv's and i was dullin the edges, and i glanced upon a bump in the spot the first to screws on the toe piece are. Is this a major problem? can it be fixed by just loosening the screws? should i return them?

your screws jsut a little too long, cut/ file jsut a little bit off, but only enough so the bumps no longer there

arv are the wrong choice for rail sliding to begin with...especially if he is riding park enough to be dulling the edges

i dull the edges because i occasually ride the park in them, i dont need razor edges to ski. i dull under foot, most of the edge is still sharp.

thats a good pint, but i would take it to the shop where you got them mounted and tell them. it there fault, so get them to fix it for free.

the screws from the bindings are too long. it happens sometimes. its pretty easy to fix. just take them back to the shop that mounted them. im sure they will be embarrased and feel like dicks and fix it for you right away. i would at my shop... been there done that.

The shop you had them mounted at owes you a new pair of skis dude. That's how it works where I work.

yeah, i didnt have the same thing happen, but i landed wrong on a disaster, and dented my edge on my ar5's. it made a bubble in the edge, and its all weird. probably not gonna be a prime situation when u lande on the screws though.

take it to the shop were u got them mounted they may have drilled to far, and damaged your bottom, you wont be able to get the tuned up with that bumb in the bottom depending what kinda tuning the shop does, because when people bring in skis with that we cant run them through the machine

so deffinitly go get it checked
