Pretty much what the title says. I am sitting at home missing one of the only storms in the East with stiches and I'm really bored.

^^^

I can't even get a huge mitten on without it hurting like crazy and if i pop a stitch then I'll miss even more skiing but thanks for the thought

at a ski race one time my friend with a broken hand, duct taped his pole to his cast in position lol, used like a whole roll of tape.

id say your best bet is jack it all day everyday until healed.

just wrap that finger in medical or duct tape. and shred without gloves. make an immobilizer for the finger out of popsicle sticks.

ive been riding no gloves, err day, for the past two seasons. you can do it for just one storm. come on, we dont get snow like this on the east coast very often.

wrap it up in some gauze, get a big oven mit (I've done this with a cast), and go ski no poles. Enjoy the storm

damn dude. that sucks. im from the east and im watching it snow right now. is it sticking where you are? right now its not really adding up yet.

Use the blue tape first, the stuff that doesn't stick to your hand, but it sticks to itself. Then use medical tape.

hes completely right, gauze then tape it and then mitten. and that is nothing ,try tearing 2 ligaments in ur thumb from it being hyper entending it and having it also diloacted and skiing. u have to make it work if u want to go skiing

Dude, come on. I broke my 3rd metacarpal a month ago and had to have surgery with 6 screws and a plate put in. I was skiing a few days later recreationally, and then a week later doing rails. 2 weeks after surgery, I was trying handdrags for the first time and hitting jumps. Doctor said 2-3 month recovery of NO skiing. Lesson in the story: Don't listen to them. Be careful.

yeah man thats not on a join really, gauze it, tape it up really good (kind of bent when you do) and throw on a mitten. You will be good to ski.
