I have $2000 for a car...

Please don't buy a honda.

Here are your options:

A older(1989-199?) audi 80 or 90 (make sure its quattro)

A older subary legacy

If you decide to not go with a car get a toyota 4runner (or tacoma if you like trucks). Im not sure how old youi will have to go to be able to afford it, but there are still lots of 1st generation 4runners on the road they last well up into the 200,000 mile range if cared for properly.

get a car with airbags.

also dont buy old foreign cars because parts are hard to come by. subarus last, but before like 95 and you shoudl just stay away. jeeps are built specificlly to master rough terrain. most of them never see any. which leads to suspension probelms because they arent built for highways. so if you get a jeep, make sure you have enough for alignments (i do). old jags and mercedes are not uncommon if you know where to look, but they can break pretty easy and as i said before, parts rape. wait until you get enough for a 95 or newer subaru or a jeep if can afford it. jeeps are the shit. test drive one. and make it a goal to buy it. and if you are a skiier (which you are) some bitchazz car, like a lumina, no matter the price, wont do well in winter. and my neighbor has one and hes had to fix it at least 3 times so hes paid more to fix it than he orignally paid..

Thanks for all the help, I'm definately looking for a car, not a truck or suv. I've heard that volvo's are really durable, is this true?

yes they are. my friend has one. runs great. but dont not go older than like 95 on them. the old ones suck and break down more than a little. well thats true with most cars.

just wait until you get more money or i'm telling you you're going to regret it
