I have $1350 to spend on a cam/gimbal, need some help.

I don’t know much about DSLR’s. More of a fan of video camcorders… allows for more convenient/steady filming within skiing/snowboarding/skating. Can’t beat a servo zoom rocker switch and a handle for fisheye and/or follows.

the canon m50 has like 4k 24 or 30fps or something right?

Really no use for 4k if it doesn't shoot at 60fps IMO, which you'll have to get a gopro at your budget level. A gh5 would be my recommendation for 4k.

I still own one, used one for the last few years for filming skiing, its been great.

The GH5 has a sensor stabilizer as well, so it can really help make your shots look buttery.

No gimbal needed then? Might use it for skiing, going to be filming hikes in rough terrain. Want to make sure the shots aren't all shaky or have the shaking from the stabilizer.

All depends on you, Brady Perron also uses a GH5 and hes always handheld, it can help out but it won't be like a gimbal.

"White balance" is AOC's number 1 campaign issue, next to pushing the term "Latin X" on people whose language is wholly based on the idea of two set genders.
