I hate typing my user name and password every time

for those who have aim you all know you can set it to remember your screenname and password and even sign in upon loging on to your computer.

ns should institute something along these lines so we dont have to sign in every time
 
On every browser ive used it saves my username and password. Check your settings. Or when you clear your histroy uncheck the box that says to clear all saved passwords.
 
honestly, just either enable the setting on your browser, or get ff and it will save it for you.
 
all browsers remember it, with safari it's more complicated but just change your autofill settings, with everything else it's really straightforward

The muscle tension required to move my hand around a tiny keyboard is too much to come on NS anymore. I guess i just start logging in as a guest now
 
Theres an add-on on firefox called lastpass, it saves all your passwords and you can check a page where it has all the passwords you've entered
 
you actually dont need an add-on to be able to look at all your passwords. if you go into preferences -> security -> saved passwords, it shows you all your saved passwords, and which site they are saved for
 
I've always had a problem with that, it doesn't save what I want and as of right now it still only has 2 sites on it, what I use just auto saves everything, it has accounts that I totally forgot about, sites from years ago before i even had the program.
 
Not yet. The touch/iphone 3.0 firmware will allow you to save logins with the new version of safari. I don't think there's keychain support though, which sucks for developers.
