In order to effectively temporary-ban yourself, send offensive jokes and images to Rowen, or any other member with a green name. These people will kindly ban you temporarily, so that you may do your work, in exchange for offensive material in their PM Inbox. I hear they particularly like male-on-male action.

See... you're looking at it wrong. This is just good training on multitasking! For the rest of many people's lives, when you finish school you'll be working a desk job and NS will be staring you in the face all day long.
So you need to just accept the addiction, and learn to control your posting.
Working at NS, I try to make sure to just squeeze in about 15 minutes of NS out of every hour of work.
Good tips:
-Close the NS window when you need to work. If you can see it you'll check it-Remember... the thread will still be there in 45 minutes... or at the end of the day when you're finished-Maybe you don't NEED to comment on that one thread. Just read and enjoy.-Browse pictures and videos for a bit - give the forums a rest
