The Best Buy/Classmates ads are really starting to piss me off. They make me want to NOT use whatever they're advertising. Isn't that the exact OPPOSITE of what an ad is supposed to do?

i remember when add used to add to the experience of ns. Not that they dont today but there were some pretty funny adds like the one with the chipmunks kissing. Right now im looking at an armada add, its pretty cool and i might click it. Just saying not all adds are bad besides the ones that pop out and say stuff.
The most important thing is to show support to advertisers you like. If you see an ad that stokes you out - click it and head over to the advertisers site and see what they have going on!
The more people interact with the good ads, the more the ski industry supports NS and the more good, quality skiing ads we can have.
The more people that install adblockers, the less we show support for our advertisers and the less likely they are to support NS.
I am really happy with the outpouring of support from the industry we had this season. You guys probably noticed that we had a lot of ski companies advertising on here - and it was absolutely amazing to feel the support that we got in the face of tough economic times.
So don't only buzz by their site, but take their brands into your buying decisions. Support brands that Support Newschoolers!

i dont mind ads, i like looking at them and stuff, but the full page pop ups from yearbook.com or w.e and best buy are total bull.

i already set up ad block plus, and im not really sure how to turn it off, but if you scroll your mouse over either the best buy ad or the yearbook.com ad i think youll get a pop up that takes up half-full page. and if you x out, it happens every time you do it again.
