FU NY, I worked 45 hours 9.05 an hour, 407 dollars total, 70 dollars out in taxes so now its only 337, fu ny. FU. FU FUFUUFUFUFUFFUFU. K, gotta go buy my pants and coat for this winter. Just had to say that.
 
that's nothing. I get 465 taken off every pay, and my girlfriend gets $700 off every pay (she works in QUebec )
 
Yeah, NY's taxes are high though because of 9/11, fucking other states not chipping in like they are supposed to.
 
Move to Alberta, i swear to god, Mcdonalds is paying their Albertan employees $20.00/hr Canadian, because theres sooo much work in AB that if they dont they can just leave
 
maybe its just saratoga that sucks anal(even though the whole state has these taxes). and today it gets eveen worso. track opens = madddd people who dont know how to drive, long lines, traxicans stealing bikes/taking jobs
 
That's true, but for her there's no family doctors - there's a waiting list of 30,000 people. If she want's to go to a doctor in Ottawa (again, waiting list) she has to pay the difference in cost because her health card will only cover what it would cost in Quebec - Ottawa is more expensive.

 
NY state is the shit. lake placid is soooo dope for camping and kayaking and cliff jumping and fun!!!! and rugby!!!

but i agree with james on the alberta thing. move to alberta if you're so hung up on taxes man. they've got themselves a booming economy out there.
 
haha...in Slovakia we have an even tax of ...are you ready?...19% on everything.

so you pay 19 bucks for every 100 you make. And that works for value added tax as well. Almost a fifth of the pricetag is the tax
 
yo, get a clue, and get a job that pays off the books, otherwise quit your bitching cuz there's like a few million other people in this state that pay the same taxes you do
 
i got a paycheck for three bucks once, cause like it was my last one and they forgot something, well anyway they took like 30 cents tax off it and i was like shit man.
 
in ithaca new york ppl are trying to leave caus of the taxes and now they are trying to put a tax on selling ur house so ur prity much locked in it sucks
 
yea man it's not like you're the ony one gettin taxed, we feel your pain. taxes suck, but our country would probably suck if we didn't have them

(I got up to Ithaca every November for the Turkey Shoot Lax Tourney though)

i thought that was only in michigan, i've made 2000 so far this summer and recieved 1500
