I hate the cliff chair

on monday i skied the cliff 4 time then they open the chair and it was instantly skied out. and by people who dont now how to ski. not that im a pro skier but i can make it. but there were hords of people all falling in that first bit on skiers left of the chair and it was had to make your way down since there were bodies in your line. i hate that chair!!! had one of the best first lies of the year and on my way up i could not pick out my line.

 
yeah I know. I was standing at the top of the bullet deciding whether or not to traverse down and then ski the cliff, and as I was watching there were dozens and dozens of people launching, falling then ragdolling down. So I decided no. Although it would have been an awesome ride without the bodies in the way.

If I don't remember it, I didn't do it.
 
i think that somebody should set an "accidental" avalanche that would "accidentally" destroy the cliff chair and therefore save the cliff from the evil gapers!

 
it sucks and it not that bad sking to the bf then bullet and alpine, you can eving make it from the bf to the alpin with a little work ony takes like 20 minuts and for fresh it's worth it

 
they should have ran the fucking chair to the top of big white, like where that plateau is when you hike to ski the ridge. they put out all this hype about easy access to the east peak and shit and then the chair comes up below the tbar.. gay

if they ran it up that far there would be no refuage peopel will not hike but i will most of the time that stuff is still decent by the end of the day. however i thaught that the peak and east peak were going to be inbounds but there still out what gives?

 
Man, i got sicked of the clif skied off, so iducked under the rope and skied the falcon to the top of gem where there are those cliffs like 15 runs today! That was sick!

 
lots of people were skiing the gem runs from the top of the falcon and getting a ride back to the vil from the bottom any one do it??

There's a memo gone round that if any staff get caught riding Gem we get fired and passes confiscated etc. Booh.

^fuck that sucks for you guys man its like the perks of working on the mtn skiing the closed shit.. but then we do it anyways

yeah that's a problem i had at hemlock when it was open, we couldn't hike the chair that was closed to build a jump in the regular place cause since we were staff we can lose our jobs if we disobey the rules. (they have a rule against uphill walking and of course skiing out of bounds). we hike anyways but we only do stuff that's in bounds or close to it.
