so i dropped my new/used AR6's off at my local shop on monday to get remounted, I told the guy to center the bindings, I was running late today so I picked them up payed and left them in my car when i was at work. I get home and look at them, the idiot at the shop didnt do anything , they slid the heal peace back and waxed them, I paied thirty bucks for shit I could of done!

im probabaly overreacting but too bad

hahahahahahahhahaha. im sorry man. thats happened to me twice!! just go back and be like... listen little man, im gonna stomp yard all over your ballsack if you dont fix this. I promise, they will kiss your ass free of charge

There's something to be said for forking over 20 bucks for the drill bits and doing it yourself (as long as you have somebody to teach you the first couple times).

Nah, all you need is a measuring tape, a sharpie, and some masking tape to put on your topsheet so you can draw where the drill holes should be. It takes an extra 20 mins of measuring and triple checking your measurements, but it's not that much harder to mount skis without a jig.

Once again though, don't try to mount your own skis without having somebody show you how first. It's not THAT simple either the first couple times.

thats just goin to buy you trouble. no doubt it could be done, but the chances of some pimple face tech fucking up using a jig is smaller than doin it yourself without a jig.

i believe that you two are fuckin dbags. none of u prolly have event he first clue. and you know wat u two assholes have in common? you both go in other peoples threads and talk shit with under 100 posts and karma. get a life dick head.

well in real life i have been skiing longer than you have been alive and think kids these days are fucking worthless flaming shitbags but what do i know

If you have any practical sense, just do it yourself. I just tried it and it worked fine. If not go to the shop and complain, they will fix it

hahaha it really doesn't matter if you fuck it up eh?i guess it doesnt matter after you drop like $600 on skis and get crooked bindings...no problem

Holy shit are people actually saying it's a good idea to mount your own bindings? No, that's a terrible idea. Get a shop to do it. Get a piece of masking tape first, put it on your skis, and draw a line with a sharpie where you want your midsole to be. Then it's almost guaranteed they'll do it right.

i got my skis remounted. paid and when i took my bindings off the next year there was only 1 set of holes. i forget why i got them remounted...
