It's dumping snow here in Fairbanks. Whiteout conditions, its perfect powder, but it's making my life hell. I barely made it in to town and back out to my house, the roads are some of the worst I have ever driven on, that's including all the offroading trails I've done. My car (1966 Land Rover) is having a hard time getting any traction, so I don't want to know what other people cars are handling like. The worst thing about it is I'm leaving town this weekend to go to Colorado, I'm going to miss the best snow of the year at home...

Oh well, I'm pretty stoked to get to Breck.
 
i would love to be getting snow right about now..... that snow may make your life no fun now, but at least its snowing
 
I think I just cried a little at the fact you said you hate snow and that its 60 here right now when I wish it was dumping
 
It's not like I could even go urban if I wanted to... I'm not getting anywhere on these roads... Too much of a good thing..
 
ontario is fucking done in two-3weeks...prettty much all ice and man made snow..not to mention it rains every week...i wish i had pow
 
wow dont complain about white out here in baltimore w have gotten like mabey a foot all year and thats better than the last two years and it usually melts in two or three days
 
I really can't blame him. Fairbanks is such a shithole. -60 degrees F in the winter? fuuuuuuck that.
 
Suck it up and walk places, if there was any amount of snow here i would be out wandering around looking for cool urbans all way with my skis and a shovel

but this new snow is fucking sick! there are some places here you can ride it, i guess.
 
i love snow. Last week it was like 60 in the mountains, dirt, shit, i thought the season was over.

Now theres two feet up there and its still dumping in the city and the mountains. This is the best thing for our season, i was getting sick of rails and get to shred 2 feet tomorrow skipping school on some pow stix.
 
Yeah, Series IIa Ex Mod 109 Truck. We took the Ladder Rack off it a few months ago though.

I know.. I love making jibs and then having them shatter after a few hits because its so fucking cold outside.. I can't wait to get down to Colorado. Leaving saturday night!@#!@!
 
fucking figures that when i leave the armpit of alaska then the biggest storm in over 10 years happens.
 
well dude im going to go rip nip deep pow on ester tomorrow after school... so im not complaining too much even after me and my cousin went into the ditch already :P
 
Same thing happened to me 3 years ago. I live in upstate NY and we got on of the biggest snowfalls on record (about 3 feet) and the day after the storm cleared I flew out to Montana. At least you are getting to go someplace sick tho and most likely the snow will be there when you get back
 
my season is over too.... after this weekend. high of 75....

but a hill around 99.8 miles from my house has this baller employees who is talking about pushing a whole bunch of snow around and setting up a few rails at the bottom of the park. hopefully we will be able to hit that for most of the month
 
nice man...me and a buddy rebuilt an 88 a few years ago, such a fun offroader. i used to have a 1989 RR and then a 1996 Disco, there should be a LR cult or something
 
snow isnt all that bad, ill see some people skiing on it sometimes... but skiing isnt for me i kneesled
 
You both should take a ski trip up here. our local mountains have like 350cm.
